Euphoria

Randomly decided to open up an old devotional book I had and went directly to the one corresponding to May 17th. And like always, God surprises me with his perfect timing. The reading for May 17th was about confidence & peace and how it takes a deliberate act of the will to turn away from the problems & worries and focus our minds on God. I find myself always forgetting that the truth is when our minds are stayed on God, we won’t be worried about the future, because we know everything is in His hands. So Lord, please let your peace transcend all understanding and take away all the craziness going up in my head right now!

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.” - Isaiah 26:3

Recently rediscovered some old diaries of mine from elementary school & junior high and had some good laughs while reading them. It brought back a lot of memories I’ve forgotten and reminded me of how carefree yet strange I was…Then, I realized how important it is to keep track of some of the memorable events in my life so here goes my quick look-back of freshman year @ USC!

Freshman year was quite the unforgettable one. It was a year full of gains/losses, new experiences & jumbled emotions. But now that I think about it, the friends I’ve gained this year totally outweigh any of my losses. Met the best 4 friends any girl could ask for @ ‘SC who literally helped me pull through freshman year. Hope we always remember the memories we made like our first night out to the Row, UR, neverending study nights where we all went delusional & just everyday laughters! God has definitely placed me in the right place and can’t wait to go back in the fall for a new year!

Finally caved into the tumblrsphere. Can already foresee all the time I’m going to spend on this & the drop of my grades but can’t wait to start tumbling!
